snowstorm checklist

to-do list, when there is a snowstorm:
1. check if u of t is closed for a snow day. (there's always hope)
2. buy some hot chocolate and snuggle around the fireplace... err... space heater.
3. sit and watch people attempt to parallel park into a snow pile.
... 46. make like a new yorker and sculpt a Venus de Milo.

you got BIDEN-ed

war of the wellies

latest shopping quest: finding the perfect rain boot. i've set my mind on getting the hunter regent savoy in black - its downright beautiful. thanks to my ginormous calves, it never seems to fit quite right, and is regular $225, currently on sale at some places for $170. that being said, a 200 dollar rain boot should fit perfectly, shouldn't it?

then i was reminded that i could probably purchase a pair of tall burberry boots for roughly the same price. le sigh.

obviously something must be done before canada's "seven-eleven" season: when toronto streets are suddenly flooded with a substance that resembles a giant coke-flavoured slushie, and my feet suffer the uncomfortable wetness of the Great Defrost (otherwise known as february/march).

decisions, decisions. jury's out on this one.
